Julie Wilcox joins Minnesota Lakes Bank Board of Directors

Julie WilcoxChanges have been announced to the Minnesota Lakes Bank Board of Directors, according to David Krause, President of Minnesota Lakes Bank. Effective February 4, 2019, Julie Wilcox has been elected to the Minnesota Lakes Bank board of directors.

Julie currently serves as Sr. Vice President – Marketing, Brand Management and Communications of Grand Rapids State Bank and Minnesota Lakes Bank. She joined Grand Rapids State Bank in 2013. Julie has an extensive background in marketing and communications and has spent numerous years in various ad agencies. Julie is very active with ICBA (Independent Community Bankers of America) and is a strong and continuous advocate for community banking both at the state level and nationally.

“I am very excited to have Julie Wilcox join the Minnesota Lakes Bank Board of Directors. Her broad marketing and leadership background will provide the Board with creative ideas to help strengthen the Minnesota Lakes Brand in the Twin Cities market,” stated President Krause.

Wilcox holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Coe College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa.

Julie is an active member in the community and is on the Board of Directors of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. She has also been a passionate advocate for people with food allergies for several years. Julie has served on the national board of FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) out of Washington, DC since 2009 and currently serves on their Board of National Ambassadors.

Julie joins Steve Burggraf, Becky Horgan, David Krause, Matt Wilcox and Noah Wilcox on the bank’s board of directors.
